Description
Do you wish Alexa was more reliable, entertaining and funny? Dialogue systems, such as Alexa, are currently incapable of communicating in a human-like way and this is one of the grandest challenges facing Artificial Intelligence. This project involves developing new approaches to dialogue systems that will allow the systems we interact with every day to become more personable and easier to communicate with. The focus will be on examining how existing dialogue systems work and where they need improvement. The project will also look at developing ways of giving systems more personality, making them better at responding to instructions and even making them more entertaining for users to interact with.
